1. Information We Collect
FastAI Health Coach collects the following data to provide personalized wellness coaching: account information (name, email), fasting session data (start/end times, duration, protocol), weight logs, meal photos and AI-generated nutritional analysis, AI coaching conversation history, and app usage analytics.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve your wellness coaching experience. We use AI (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze meals and provide personalized coaching. Your data is never sold to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored securely on Convex (backend database) and Clerk (authentication). Photos are encrypted at rest. All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption. We implement industry-standard security practices including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.
4. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access all data we hold about you, export your data in a portable format, request deletion of all your data, revoke consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 5. Data Retention
Active account data is retained as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. Data export download links expire after 48 hours. AI response caches are automatically purged based on TTL (24 hours for coaching, 7 days for meal analysis).
6. Meal Photo Data
Meal photos are processed by AI for nutritional analysis and are never shared with third parties. Photos are stored securely and can be deleted at any time from your meal history. You can also request full data deletion through Settings → Privacy & Data.
